What decides the right one

Ordering mostly satin for a general market stall is the fastest way to tie up cash in stock that only moves twice a year.

Then print against shelf. Novelty prints sell themselves off an open rail on appearance alone and need no further work. Solid colours, especially in satin, are what a hamper or gift-set retailer wants, because a plain set photographs cleanly and takes a ribbon or a box without a busy print fighting it.

Then the fabric-to-satin ratio, which the mixable minimum lets you actually test. A thousand pieces split mostly jersey with a smaller run of satin tells you, on real sales, whether your market is buying sleepwear as clothing or as a gift, and the repeat order is then placed on evidence rather than a guess.
