Heat doesn't check whether NEPA is up. The hours a fan matters most, late afternoon and right through the night, are the hours the grid is least dependable, which is why households buy these without needing much persuading. This particular build does two things that lift it clear of the cheap end of the market: the column adjusts, and it takes a top-up from a small solar panel as well as from a cable.
Description
The commonest mistake in this category is buying a 25W rechargeable fan and then pricing it against a mains standing fan. A buyer in Ojo did precisely that, shelved them beside 60W pedestal fans at a similar price, and spent the next few weeks explaining to customers why the airflow felt lighter. Those two products aren't competing for the same money. Get that straight before the first carton lands and everything else here is easy.
What you're looking at is a small standing fan on an adjustable column. Dropped to its lowest position it sits on a table or a bedside stool. Extended, it puts air at the height a seated adult actually wants it. That's why it beats fixed table fans in the same price band. One unit covers a bedroom, a shop counter and a barber's chair, so whoever stocks it doesn't have to guess which of those the walk-in customer has in mind.
The motor is 25W at 5V, which places it in the rechargeable and USB-powered class. A good trade, in our view. The internal cell gets through a night on the lower speeds, a phone charger or a power bank will run it, and the solar panel is genuinely able to contribute something rather than sitting there for the sake of the packaging photo. Five speeds sounds like marketing. It isn't. The bottom two are what people sleep on, and they're the settings that decide whether your customer tells her neighbour the battery lasts.
Same warning as every solar-labelled product we handle. The panel stretches runtime. A 25W motor against a panel that size, in July, under Ibadan cloud, will not run all afternoon on sunlight, and you shouldn't imply that it will. Sell it as a rechargeable fan with solar backup and your customers get roughly what they expected. Lean on the word solar by itself and some of them will be back at your stall.
One opinion, since you're here. If you're stocking for Ariaria or Onitsha, take the black. White housings on a fan that lives near a generator and gets through a harmattan look tired within a season, and customers notice a tired-looking fan on the shelf before they notice anything else about it.
Volume freight, carton maths, and the certificate that has to exist first
You're paying for air, not weight. A standing fan is light and bulky, so freight on this product is charged on volume. The carton dimensions decide your shipping bill far more than the fan itself does.
So the carton gets specified before production. Whether the column ships knocked down, how many units fill a cubic metre, and how the cartons stack. Settling that before the factory starts building is worth more per unit than any discount you'll negotiate on the fan.
SONCAP, and the cell inside. The Product Certificate has to be issued in China before the goods sail, and the rechargeable cell brings UN38.3 documentation and compliant packing with it.

We do not publish prices, because the landed figure depends on the specification, the Customs valuation and the exchange rate on the day you pay.
Minimum order
Fifty units in a shipment sets the floor. White and black in the same order pool together toward it. Cross 100 and the per-unit cost improves more sharply on this item than on most things we ship, because a fan is priced by the room it takes up in a container. Once you're filling whole cartons instead of part-filled ones, freight per unit falls, and that saving is normally larger than anything we can argue out of the factory. Custom printed packaging drags the practical minimum up toward 100.
Lead time. Around four weeks in the factory, longer if you want a colour outside white and black or your logo up the column. Sea freight to Lagos after that, then clearing and the crawl out of the port, which Lagos traffic can stretch well past anything you would call reasonable.
What decides the right one
One fan sits on this page and it's there to give you something specific to point at, because written descriptions of fans all read identically and a photograph doesn't. You look at the column, the base, the guard, and you either say yes, that shape, or you say no, I want the tall one on a round base with a metal guard. What's in the picture is an example of what we can bring in, picked more or less arbitrarily from a wide field. Height, blade diameter, cell capacity, colour, branding, whether a panel is fitted at all: settled while we're quoting you, because a trader buying for a stall in Ariaria and a company ordering two hundred branded units for staff want different objects out of what is very nearly the same tooling. You put a photograph or a link or a rambling voice note in front of us, we work out who manufactures it, we confirm the specification with them, we get a sample into your hands, and we price it landed in Lagos. The fifty-piece floor comes out of how this thing ships rather than out of any policy we dreamed up. A fan is light but takes up space, freight is charged on volume, and the certification file and battery paperwork cost the same whether you bring in ten pieces or a hundred. Below fifty, those fixed costs plus volumetric freight leave you nothing to resell against. Between fifty and a hundred it works. Above a hundred the carton maths starts working in your favour instead of against you, and branded packaging is the one thing that will push your sensible minimum up toward that hundred.

What's the smallest order you'll do?
Fifty units in one shipment. Colours pool together toward that fifty, so a mixed white and black order is still a single fifty.
How long does the battery really last?
Depends almost entirely on the speed it's running at, and the honest figure varies a lot between suppliers. We time it on the approved sample at the lowest and the highest setting and hand you both numbers. Listing figures are worth nothing to anyone.
Can it run on solar alone?
No, and don't sell it that way. A 25W motor against a panel that size means the panel is buying you extra hours, and in the rainy season not many of them. Position it as rechargeable with solar backup and everybody stays happy.
Table fan or standing fan?
Both. Four height positions, adjusted by hand with no tools. Commercially this is the strongest thing about the product and it's the line most resellers forget to put in their own copy.
Can I brand it?
Printed on the base or up the column, from fifty pieces. Your own printed colour boxes need 500, because that's where a box factory's own minimum starts and they won't go below it.
